Blaine & Louise – Love story
In 2013 Louise moved to Cape Town to see if the bright lights of Cape Town could offer her more than the brown maize fields of the Free State. To earn some extra money while finishing her studies, Louise got a job at the Bellville Golf Club through a friend. There Louise met Che van Heerden, Blaine’s sister in-law. Blaine was staying with his brother and sister in-law on their plot at that time and one weekend Che invited Louise to come visit them. For our dearest Blaine it was love at first sight and Louise was not too miserable at the idea of him either
Over the next few weeks Louise started visiting more and more until she could no longer resist Blaine’s charms and fell head over heels in love with him.
In April 2014 Blaine’s dad asked him to move to their farm in Namaqualand to run the farm for him and he told his dad he would not be able to go without Louise by his side. Louise thus packed her things and the beautiful rose from Bloemfontein moved to the Namaqualand to become a daisy.
September 2014, during a family visit to Kuboesberg, Blaine proposed to Louise at secluded camp on their farm and most of her family was there to share in this exciting time in their lives.
On 10 September 2016 the love birds made a promise to each other before God and their friends and family to love, honour and cherish each other until the day they die.
Theirs is a love story to tell generations to come and we know that God will bless these 2 beautiful people and their commitment to each other for many many years.
